30.The Construction of a Complex Context – An Analysis - Part 1
30.1 The analysis of a complex context reveals the relationships of its composing objects, which is equivalent to revealing the relationships of its composing dimensions.
Let’s now look at a complex context, and identify its primary Geometric Outlines and the physical relationships among those GOs. Then we will look at how these relationships create what is commonly referred to as the “meaning” of the context, where “meaning” is a Point of View used as a filter for dimensions in the perceivable pool of dimensions. We will do this in three parts. Part 1 is presented in this chapter, with the following two parts in the following two chapters.
Part 1) Present a Dominant Rule and its associated Recessive Rules (Axis Sub-Levels and their associated Tributary Sub-Levels). Both the Axis Sub-Levels and the Tributary Sub-Levels can themselves be viewed as Dominant Rules in other Points of View, so each of them will of course have their own Tributary Sub-Levels, and so on into infinity.
Part 2) Illustrate the physical nature of GO relationships. This will give us a spatial sense of a complex context, and also help us visualize the built-in structures that facilitate secondary (i.e. “recessive”) Points of View.
Part 3) Present a theoretical physical structure of a Dominant Rule and its Axis Sub-Levels, demonstrating GO nexus points, recessive Points of View, and pathway managers that direct energy through the context. We will further see how particular GOs within the Axis Sub-Levels create the Dominant Rule.
Part 1 – A Dominant Rule and its associated Recessive and Tributary Rules
A Dominant Rule (DR) is a logical or mathematical context that filters all the dimensions in a perceivable pool of dimensions. If a dimension is consistent with the logical and mathematical laws creating the DR, then that dimension is added to the DR’s physical structure. If a dimension is not consistent with the logimathical laws creating the DR, then that dimension is not added to the DR’s physical structure - it is discarded.
The Dominant Rule defines the Dominant Point Of View of a complex context. This Dominant POV is itself constructed of other contexts called Recessive Rules. These Recessive Rules are of at least two types – Axis Sub-Levels and Tributary Sub-Levels.
A Recessive Rule (RR) is a logical or mathematical context that filters less than all of the perceivable dimensions in a context. Recessive Rules may be Dominant Rules in other contexts. Recessive Rules define the Recessive Points of View of a context. Recessive Points Of View can become Dominant Points Of View as new dimensions are added to the perceivable pool of dimensions, if these new dimensions are added to the structure of the Recessive POV and not the current Dominant POV.
There are at least two types of Recessive Rules – Axis Sub-Levels and Tributary Sub-Levels.
An Axis Sub-Level (ASL) is a context within a Dominant Rule complex context. Axis Sub-Levels provide the GOs that physically construct the Dominant Rule. Axis Sub-Levels are Recessive Rules of a Dominant Rule.
A Tributary Sub-Level (TSL) is a context within an Axis Sub-Level. Tributary Sub-Levels provide the GOs that physically construct the Axis Sub-Levels. TSLs can be seen as Recessive Rules of an Axis Sub-Level, or as secondary Recessive Rules of a Dominant Rule.
The main difference between an Axis Sub-Level and a Tributary Sub-Level is that Axis Sub-Level must contain all the GOs forming the Dominant Rule. Tributary Sub-Levels must contain all the GOs forming the Axis Sub-Levels they are associated with. Tributary Sub-Levels can contain GOs included in the Dominant Rule, but they also contain GOs not included in the Dominant Rule or the Axis Sub-Level the TSL is associated with.
Both Axis Sub-Levels and the Tributary Sub-Levels can themselves be viewed as Dominant Rules in other Points of View, and when viewed that way each of them will of course have their own Axis and Tributary Sub-Levels. There is no complete definition – no complete set of dimensions – for any Dominant Rule, Axis Sub-Level or Tributary Sub-Level. As each Tributary Sub-level is analyzed it itself becomes a Point Of View and therefore a Dominant Rule, with its own Axis and Tributary Sub-Levels, and so on into infinity.
Because Axis Sub-Levels create the physical structure of the Dominant Rule, any change in structure of the ASL (via added or lost dimensions) affects the Dominant Rule. Sufficient changes can convert the Recessive Rule from a Recessive Point Of View to a Dominant Point Of View, making that Recessive Rule the new Dominant Rule. In practice, Axis Sub-Levels share more dimensions with the Dominant Rule than Tributary Sub-Levels, so ASLs are more likely to “spin on their axis” into Dominant Point Of View (and therefore Dominant Rule) status.
The fluid nature of the Dimensional Nexus is made apparent by the transitory nature of Points Of View. Any shift in POV reveals a new set of logically and mathematically associated dimensions, which in effect are positional viewpoint changes within the Dimensional Nexus.
Here then is a Dominant Rule with its associated Axis Sub-Levels and Tributary Sub-Levels. The Axis Sub-Levels contribute the GOs that form the structure of the DR, while the Tributary Sub-Levels contribute GOs to the Axis Sub-Levels.
